A listing without a clear profession gets passed over, because families cannot tell at a glance whether you offer what they need. Setting it takes a minute, and it is what makes your listing appear in the right searches.

1. Open Directory.
2. Under How families find you, choose your Primary profession.
3. Add your service postcode, then click Save search details. You need both before the listing can go live.

Professions include Doula, Private Midwife, Lactation Consultant, Hypnobirthing Practitioner, Sleep Consultant, Physiotherapist, Antenatal Educator, Baby Massage Practitioner, Nutritionist, Mental Health Therapist, Pregnancy Massage Therapist, Holistic Therapist, Fertility Coach, and Newborn care specialist. Existing listings were set to Doula. Change yours if that is not right.

Your profession is used beyond the directory, so your paperwork matches the work you do rather than assuming you are a doula.

• Your directory card and profile lead with it, and families can filter Find by it.
• The expertise options you can choose are tailored to your profession.
• Contract and form templates now include starting points for baby massage, hypnobirthing, private midwifery, feeding support, sleep consulting, fertility coaching, and other professions.
• Contracts you sign show your role, such as “Signed by your lactation consultant”.
