You are the seller.
The buyer pays your price.
The family pays the number on the invoice. DoulaOne's fee and Stripe's card fee come out of what you receive. They are not added on top, and a refund returns the buyer's money rather than a fee-adjusted amount.
Settings
Connect Stripe
- Open Settings → Payments.
- Start setup on the DoulaOne-branded Stripe page, or choose Connect your existing account if you already use Stripe.
- Finish anything Stripe asks for. Click Refresh status if card payments do not switch on straight away.
You are responsible for refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and taxes on that account. If setup was started with the wrong details, Start setup again picks up a fresh Stripe page.
Payments
Refund the buyer in full
A refund from an invoice, an event, or a shop order returns what the buyer paid. DoulaOne's fee is handled on the refund. You do not have to calculate it, and the buyer does not see Stripe's internal error text if something cannot be refunded. The screen tells you what to do instead.
Accounts that already finished the earlier Express setup stay on that path, with the fees and refunds they had before. New connections, and an existing Stripe account you connect now, use this one.
