Sell it from your link in bio.
Know when someone buys.
A birth-affirmation deck, a postnatal plan, or a booking link for a class no longer needs a separate shop. Families buy from the page they already use to find you. You hear about it in the same place as a refund.
Marketplace
Add a product
A product is either a file they download or a link you send them. A price of zero is a free download. Anything above zero is a paid sale, and that needs card payments turned on first.
- Open Marketplace and click New product.
- Give it a title. Choose a file or a link, and set the price. Leave the price at zero for a free download.
- Choose how it appears on your public page: a pop-up on the link in bio, or its own page. Add a cover and a short description if you want one.
- Publish it, then add it to your public page or copy the product link.
Free downloads can go live straight away. Paid products stay off until card payments are on. If Stripe is not connected, checkout stops instead of taking the buyer to a payment that cannot finish.
Marketplace
The mailing list
Someone can buy without becoming a client. If they tick the mailing list box, they appear on the Mailing list tab and you can email them from an automation without adding a client record.
- Open Automations and add a rule.
- Choose When someone joins your mailing list. Leave the product on any, or pick one product.
- The action stays on Send a message. A mailing-list rule cannot move a pipeline stage or change a tag, because the buyer is not a client yet.
- Use {{product_title}} in the template where you want the product name.
If you later add them as a client with the same email, earlier purchases link to that client. Until then, the mailing list is how you reach them.
Sales
When someone buys
A completed order, paid or free, shows in the notification bell and opens Marketplace → Sales. A paid sale says who bought what, and for how much. A free download says who got it. The same alert can email you, following the booking notification setting you already use. A checkout that is still waiting for payment does not notify you. A refund still uses the refund alert.
Sales lists every order. You can refund a paid order from there. The buyer pays your price. DoulaOne's fee and Stripe's card fee come out of what you receive. They are not added on top.
Once you have at least one completed order, the dashboard shows a Shop sales card: the amount after refunds, and how many were sold or free. Reports has the same numbers under Shop, with a list of products and a CSV. A workspace with no shop orders does not show the card.
Clients
Use a purchase in the rest of DoulaOne
A client who buys, or a buyer you later add with the same email, can start an automation. Refunded orders do not count.
- In Automations, choose When a client gets a product. Any product runs once for each product. A specific product runs only for that one.
- On Clients, filter by Got a product, or pick one product. Shared clients from another practice are not included, because their orders belong to that workspace.
- The same Got a productrule is available on a smart column and on an automation's Only if filter. Pro is required for those.
Their purchases also sit on the client profile, so you can see what they already have before you send it again.
