Are you looking for positive birthing support while preparing to welcome a new life into the world? I work with you to tailor a bespoke package to suit your specific needs. I will walk alongside you whatever your path, providing evidence based information to empower you to make informed choices, navigate the system and find what feels right for you and your family. I will help you to find your inner strength and ensure you feel safe and supported throughout the birth and during your early postnatal weeks, providing continuous care. But, who am I? Where to start.. I am a neurospicy mum to two neurospicy children who I love fiercely but need very regular breaks from too! I have an incredibly supportive and understanding husband, who is totally lucky to have me as a wife.. We have 'settled' in Fareham, though both like to explore new places as much as our life allows us. I HATE rules, but respect the important ones. I can be loud, chatty, busy, the life and soul.. but put me in a birth space and you'll think I have morphed into an entirely different being, that birthkeeper discreetly protecting your birth space, reminding you that there is only one place you need to be in this moment and doing all I can to make you feel free to remain in your birthing bubble of oxytocin. I will be supporting you and your birthing partner to experience your birth in the way you feel most comfortable, providing as little or as much support as you'd like in each moment. Think of me as a chameleon.. you may want me to be; your trusted spokesperson/liaison/middle woman, an extra pair of hands to get all the practical stuff done, someone to guide you through position changes, the use of robozo, labour massage or reminding you of breathing techniques, a trusted person to step in while encouraging your partner to take a break/nap/eat, help with the practical side of transitioning from birthing to relaxing with your baby in those golden moments, photo cataloguing your journey on your phone... and anything else that comes up. Or, you may just want me nearby, just because, just in case, if it gives peace of mind and headspace to focus on what is most important; you, your baby, your family, your way.
