Amisha the Birthworker

Amisha Abeyawardene (they/she) is a doula based in London prioritising the needs of Black, brown, queer and trans people. They offer individualised and trauma-informed care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Amisha uses a blend of hypnobirthing techniques, advocacy skills, ayurvedic healing and traditional Sri Lankan birth practices to empower those who are giving birth today.
