About
I'm Alex. I'm a mum to 3 and a step-mum to 4! I've been a doula for nearly 13 years and run a doula training company, as well as still attending and supporting families through every stage of building and growing their families. When I started this work I only had two very small children, now I have 3 and the youngest just hit double digits so it feels like we've stepped into a whole new world with two teenagers and a pre-teen in the house! Before becoming a doula I worked in mental health charity sector and then for a government body helping tailor the benefit system to services users with severe mental illness. Outside of birth and family, my love is for the outdoors. I have horses and 3 dogs. I'm forever dragging my long suffering kids out on dogs walks. I love living in the Cotswolds because of the amazing opportunities it has to offer in terms of getting out and about in the countryside.
