Ways we can work together.

Birth Package

Birth doula

Giving birth is one of the most significant experiences of your life! The preparation, support and care you receive throughout your experience doesn't just shape the day your baby is born; it can influence your confidence, wellbeing and transition into parenthood for years to come.

My Birth Doula package provides continuity of care throughout pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum period, helping you feel informed, prepared and supported every step of the way.

My role is not to tell you how to birth, or to ‘save you’ from maternity systems, but to provide the information and support that allows you to make confident decisions and approach birth feeling calm, informed and prepared (and hopefully excited!).

Who I Work With

I work with families who value thoughtful preparation and personalised support. Many of my clients are looking for more than standard antenatal care; they want continuity, evidence-based information, emotional support and practical guidance as they navigate one of life's biggest transitions.

They understand that birth is not simply a day on the calendar, but an important event that can shape the early weeks, months and years of family life. They see investing in support during pregnancy and birth as an investment in both their own and their baby’s wellbeing.

Continuous Support Throughout Pregnancy, Labour & Birth

One of the greatest benefits of working with a doula is continuity of care. Pregnancy and birth often involve meeting multiple healthcare professionals, repeating your story and navigating unfamiliar situations. Having a doula means having someone who understands your preferences, knows your history and can provide consistent, calming support throughout.

During labour, I provide continuous emotional and practical support for both you and your birth partner, helping create a calm environment and supporting you through each stage of labour.

This may include comfort measures, positioning suggestions, breathing techniques, partner guidance, emotional reassurance and helping you access the information you need to make decisions that feel right for you.

My role is not to replace your partner, but to support both of you so that you can feel confident, connected and calm throughout the experience.

What’s included:

  • Two private antenatal sessions tailored to your individual needs.
  • Ongoing support throughout pregnancy via a dedicated WhatsApp group for you and your birth partner.
  • Evidence-based information and support navigating the medical system.
  • Access to my lending library of carefully selected birth and parenting resources.
  • On-call support from 10 days prior to your EDD, until 42 weeks.
  • Continuous in-person support throughout labour and birth.
  • Support for your birth partner throughout the process.
  • Use of birth support tools including TENS machine, birth ball and rebozo.
  • Use of my birth pool if you choose to have a home birth.
  • Initial feeding and postpartum support after birth.
  • A postnatal visit in your home to reflect on your birth experience and support your transition into parenthood.

Why Work With Me?

My approach combines evidence-based birth support with a holistic understanding of maternal wellbeing. I have a particular interest in birth physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, nervous system support and parental mental health. All of these aspects will be incorporated into your tailored antenatal sessions.

Alongside my advanced doula training, I have trained in psychodynamic counselling, hypnobirthing, yoga and holistic maternal education. I have also studied and experienced traditional approaches to pregnancy and postpartum care from different cultures around the world.

Postnatal Support

Postpartum doula

The weeks following birth are often some of the most transformative and demanding of parenthood. While much of the focus naturally turns to the baby, my postnatal support is designed to help mothers (and families!) transition into their new life feeling nourished, supported and well cared for.

My work combines evidence-based practice with traditional postpartum wisdom, including training in massage, nutrition and Ayurvedic postpartum care. With a focus on recovery, nourishment, nervous system support and practical help, I create the conditions that allow parents to rest, recover and enjoy this important time.

Every family is different, so support is tailored to your individual needs and may include:

Nourishment & Recovery

  • Preparing nourishing meals, snacks and drinks to support postpartum healing and recovery.
  • Guidance around nutrition and traditional postpartum care practices.
  • Creating opportunities for rest within the rhythm of family life.

Postpartum Massage & Nervous System Support

  • Relaxing postpartum massage treatments to support physical recovery and wellbeing.
  • Gentle nervous system support to help you feel grounded during a time of significant change.
  • Creating a calm, supportive environment that encourages rest and regulation.

Emotional Support

  • Space to reflect on and process your birth experience.
  • Emotional support as you navigate the transition into parenthood.
  • A listening ear through the challenges, uncertainties and joys of the early weeks.

Feeding & Newborn Support

  • Practical support with newborn care and feeding.
  • Evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions around feeding, sleep and early parenting.
  • Signposting to trusted local professionals and services when additional support is needed.

Practical Household Support

  • Light household tasks such as laundry, tidying and meal preparation.
  • Caring for your baby while you rest, shower, sleep or simply take some time for yourself.
  • Support with older siblings to help the whole family adjust.
