Amisha supported me during a very difficult pregnancy. I had been bed bound and very isolated so, having regular and helpful contact with Amisha was a blessing. Before our sessions I didn't have much knowledge of my pregnancy rights. Unfortunately, the NHS had left gaps in providing sufficient information. I am glad to have met Amisha, who was a positive and responsive presence. Who helped to bring balance, clarity and kindness to my maternal health experience.

Amisha was a fantastic doula-- sensitive, knowledgeable, and a great listener. I loved their queer-friendly and trauma informed approach, which helped me when I was feeling scared and overwhelmed. Amisha supported me during a long and complicated induction and helped me have a birth where I felt seen and cared for, even with all the complications.

After a difficult first birth, Amisha completely transformed my birthing experience second time around. Her prenatal sessions were so empowering and informative and helped me reframe my whole attitude to the birthing process. I have such positive memories and associations of my second birth and it is completely down to Amisha's help and guidance through the journey. Outside of our formal sessions and the actual birth, she was constantly checking in and providing advice and reassurance. She is a lovely, genuine and caring person and I would definitely recommend her.

We decided to get support from a doula towards the latter end of pregnancy of our first child. Having spoken to a few doulas, Amisha felt like the right fit. Her wisdom, knowledge, and pragmatism stood us in good stead for preparing for birth and post partum, and then navigating those life-changing moments when we were in them. We were both so glad to have had Amisha every step of the way. She offered us just the right kind of advice and information we needed as we worked on the birth plan and figuring out what was right for us. Unlike some other doulas we spoke to, her openness and lack of judgement was so refreshing. She was also very available to us when we had queries or wanted to catch up.

We can't imagine having gotten through the delivery without Amisha. She helped both of us at the moment where we most needed supportive but clear headed advice. Without her calm presence, the experience we had may have been much less positive. We're so glad to have had Amisha's support and knowledge on hand before, during and after.
