Birth and Postnatal Doula Support

Birth doula
  • 3 antenatal sessions to meet and discuss your birth preferences, and to help you prepare for birth which includes a session about breastfeeding if you feel this is something you would like to do
  • An on-call period of 8 days before your due date until you baby is born
  • Access to my library of resources, TENS machine, birth balls, birth pool etc
  • Support via email and phone 24/7 during on call period
  • Support for the duration of your labour and birth, and remaining with you after the birth until you are comfortable and settled with your baby.
  • A postnatal session to de-brief the birth, meet your lovely baby again, give you a chance to talk about anything you need to and provide breastfeeding support. I bring a hot meal if this is something you would like.
  • Support by phone for the two weeks after birth.

Light Touch Doula Support

Birth doula
  • 2 antenatal meetings which will include antenatal education to help you prepare for your birth by ensuring you understand the physiological birth process and are comfortable with your choices. Creating a birth plan. Discussion of comfort measures to ease you through the passage of labour. Discussion of postpartum.
  • An on-call period of 8 days before your due date until your baby is born
  • Access to my library of resources and birth balls. (Birth Pool Hire and TENS machine hire is available at an additional cost)
  • Support via Whats App or email within standard working hours (8am-8pm)
  • Support for the duration of your labour and birth and remaining with you after the birth to ensure you’re settled and comfortable with your baby
  • A postnatal session within a week of your birth to de-brief the birth, meet your lovely baby again. I am a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter and can support you with your feeding journey.

Wrap Around Doula and Postpartum Support

Birth & postpartum

Just as the name suggests! Continuity of carer and support throughout pregnancy, birth and postnatally. If you would like something slightly different to what is listed please get in touch to have a chat.

  • 5 antenatal meetings which will include antenatal education to help you prepare for your birth by ensuring you understand the physiological birth process and are comfortable with your choices, creating your birth plan, use of movement, breath work, aromatherapy, rebozo and massage to aid you throughout labour, biomechanics and optimal birth positioning. Sessions will include planning for your postpartum including support with breastfeeding (if you feel this is something you would like to do).
  • An on-call period of 8 days before your due date until your baby is born
  • Access to my library of resources, TENS machine, birth balls, birth pool hire (included it you’d like one)
  • Support via Whats App or email within standard working hours (8am-8pm)
  • Support for the duration of your labour and birth and remaining with you after the birth to ensure you’re settled and comfortable with your baby
  • A postnatal session within a week of your birth to de-brief the birth, meet your lovely baby again. I can bring a hot meal and offer postnatal wrapping if you would like. I am a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter and can support you with your feeding journey.
  • A second postnatal session to ensure you’re able to rest, recover and be nourished postnatally.
  • A third postnatal session to ensure you continue to have the support you need either with infant feeding, rest and recovery or meal prep etc.
  • Support via whats app until 6 weeks postpartum.

Postantal Support

Birth doula

The weeks after birth can be overwhelming, and gentle postnatal support provides the space and practical assistance you need to navigate this new chapter at your own pace.

  • Personalized Care: Tailored support based on your individual needs.
  • Infant Feeding Guidance: Help with breastfeeding and feeding patterns, with the knowledge of a trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter.
  • Emotional Debriefing: Space to process your birth experience when you feel ready.
  • Household Help: Assistance with tasks like laundry and meal preparation.
  • Presence and Reassurance: A calm and supportive presence to allow you to rest.
  • Resource Navigation: Guidance on accessing local services that fit your needs.
  • On-Call Availability: Flexible scheduling to ensure timely support during early weeks.
  • Postpartum Visits: Regular visits to provide ongoing encouragement and practical help.

Support starts at £35 an hour with a minimum 3 hour visit

Packages of 21 hours or more received a 15% discount when booking and paying in full.

Antenatal support and Education

Birth doula
  • Education and discussion around the physiology of birth
  • Phone support between sessions - if you need help navigating NHS antenatal appointments, scans, or consultant meetings
  • How to plan your birth, including a discussion of your rights and advocacy
  • Connection to baby - for yourself and birth partner
  • Preparing your birth partner for their role within your birth experience
  • Non medicalised comfort techniques … breath work, movement, massage, rebozo, aromatherapy
  • Postnatal planning

These sessions consist of 4 x 2 hour appointments that can be delivered in the comfort of your own home or virtually
